TID Journal: Aim & Scope
The Journal aims to rapidly publish original scientific papers that
advancethe understanding of the mechanisms underlying tobacco induced
diseases and of tobacco addiction prevention. Papers written on behalf
of a tobacco industry or based on a grant by a tobacco facility or a
related institution will be rejected without being reviewed.

Tobacco Induced Diseases publishes peer-reviewed:

- Original scientific research
and clinical advances in identification, specific diagnosis, and prevention of tobacco-induced and/or Òworsened diseases of humans,
- Experimental Studies,
- Review articles based on comprehensive and
objective analysis of non-industrial literature on crucial
issues of special importance within the aims of the journal,
- Short communications reporting results that
have significant relevance and scientific impact,
- Book reviews,
- Contemporary news items, and
- Exceptional commentaries on major events
related to health policies.
